Mark’s career in physiotherapy is one of passion, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence, beginning with his first class graduation from the University of the West of England, Bristol, in 2016. His journey since then has been marked by a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through personalized care and cutting-edge techniques. Mark works with Clare to support Soul Perform’s wide range of clients. With extensive experience in postural alignment, core work, and biomechanics, Mark offers a rounded and mindful approach that engages with you and your goals. Mark draws on his own experiences of fine tuning the body and mind to perform at it’s best.
Prior to this, at the age of ten, he was chosen to join The Royal Ballet, the most prestigious ballet school in the world. He left home to begin his training, under the guidance of various well-renowned dancers, and danced alongside many of the world’s principal dancers today. Mark gained invaluable trianing in pilates during his time at Royal, and has since furthered his studies in pilates and yoga to share these with his clients in both one-to-one and in a group classes.
Mark worked through several injuries throughout his time at Royal, developing an interest in anatomy, bodywork and movement science. At 16, Mark suffered a career changing injury within dance class, fracturing his kneecap into multiple pieces. This experience ultimately led to Mark becoming a qualified Physiotherapist.
